MATCH REPORT - ETON MANOR 2 BILLERICAY TOWN 2 (TOM POOLE AND JAMES DRAKE) EASTERN FLOODLIGHT LEAGUE WEDNESDAY 30TH NOVEMBER @ ETON MANOR 7.45PM ATTENDANCE: 71. MANAGERS: ETON MANOR - , BILLERICAY TOWN - JUSTIN EDINBURGH |
Billericay got their Eastern Floodlight Cup campaign off to an avearge start. Dale Brightley returned in place of Ricky Millard. Gary Henty was the only player that provided any real experience to the team. Of the other players only Tom Poole, John Simmons and Chris Bourne had made first team appearances. There was room in the side for trialist James Drake of the MK Dons. Billericay had to come from 2 goals down to grab a point. Despite fielding a young team, the result is a little disappointing. Tom Poole scored Billericay's first goal and his 4th of the season to make it 2-1 to Eton Manor and trialist James Drake completed the Billericay comeback. Craig Prout had late opportunities to win the match, but both efforts were saved. |
